Program: Handy Andy TV Mounting Customer Care & Appointment Texts. Operated by Handy Andy TV Mounting, 616 Memorial Heights Drive, Houston, TX 77007.
What these messages are
Handy Andy TV Mounting sends appointment and customer-care text messages about TV mounting, home theater, and handyman jobs:
- Booking confirmations
- Technician on-the-way/ETA updates
- Estimates
- Invoices
- Replies about your job
- One post-service follow-up (feedback request)
We never send marketing or promotional texts.
How you opt in
There are three ways to sign up. Texting is always optional and is not a condition of purchase.
1. On our booking form. On the final step of the booking form at www.ihandyandy.com/book, below the mobile number field and directly above the "Complete My Booking" button, customers see the checkbox below. It is unchecked by default. Checking it is optional and is not required to book; customers who leave it unchecked can still complete their booking and get no texts. The form first asks for a ZIP code to confirm we serve the area. Skip the ZIP step: www.ihandyandy.com/book?zip=77007
Exact wording and default (unchecked) state of the consent checkbox, as it appears on the booking form and the estimate request form. A full screenshot of the booking form is below.
2. On our estimate request form. The estimate request form at www.ihandyandy.com/handyman-booking has no ZIP check. On step 5 of 5, below the phone number field and above the "Submit request" button, customers see the same checkbox with the same wording and links. It is unchecked by default and optional; customers who leave it unchecked can still submit their request and get no texts.
3. By phone. When a customer books or requests an estimate by phone, our staff read this script word for word:
"Handy Andy TV Mounting can text you about this job: booking confirmations, technician on-the-way and ETA updates, estimates, invoices, replies about your job, and one follow-up after the service. It's optional and not required to book. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or STOP to opt out. Our SMS Terms are at ihandyandy.com/terms-of-service and our Privacy Policy is at ihandyandy.com/privacy-policy. Would you like to receive these text messages?"
Only the customer's spoken yes counts as consent. Staff then record the yes in our booking system, and the customer gets a confirmation text right away with HELP and STOP instructions. If the customer says no or does not answer, they get no texts.
These are the only ways to sign up. We do not sign anyone up by keyword or paper form.

The booking form asks for a ZIP code first to confirm we serve the area. This is an uncropped, full-page screenshot of www.ihandyandy.com/book after entering a served ZIP code (77007) and reaching the final step. It shows the phone number field, the unchecked SMS consent checkbox with message frequency, message and data rates, and HELP/STOP language, and the Privacy Policy and Terms links, directly above the "Complete My Booking" button.
